a revamped serious sam game.. outfitted with a HD graphics effects.. but seems to fall short of my expectations.

This is a FPS shooter based on the sci-fi game series serious sam, sam is a human who defends the earth against hordes of aliens trying to invade the planet.. you are equipped by a magnum,a dual weilding magnum, shotgun, rifles and other goodie weapons which goes better and better as the game progresses.. the graphics was nice really connotes what its title says, HD. the setting seems to be in egypt, inside pyramids and in the sandy desert outdoors..while the environment was good looking at ultimate graphics settings, the enemies at close range seems to lack anti aliasing as it shows jagged edges.. the sound was just fine, the gameplay was as simple as point and shoot, nothing more.. you are equipped with a pda-like device which receives emeil when new information are available, like enemy profile, weapon statistics, objectives, etc.. the enemies are quite redundant which makes the game a little boring.. health is gained by acquiring health bonuses and defense can be increased by collecting shield bonuses, ammos are collected the same way as well...enemies spawn at all places and just pounce at you so you really have to always rotate your view 360 degrees.. game seems to be not autosave, so remember to save frequently, because it is a hassle to die for you will backtrack the game far behind.. xbox360 controller was compatible with this game. the game has cooperative mode for added replayability and game fun.
