This pack comes with 12 mostly incredible games. Sonic the Hedgehog, Golden Axe, Shining Force, Wrestle War, Streets of Rage 2, Columns, Virtua Cop 2, Phantasy Star 2, Vectorman, Altered Beast, Revenge of Shinobi and Sega Swirl. All these games were incredible on the Genesis and are incredible on the Dreamcast as well. The reason I said before, "mostly incredible games" is because, Wrestle War is not that great a game and Sega Swirl is just like Columns but worse. Aside from that they are all incredible. Sonic the Hedgehog is the very first game where you must run as fast as you can through various levels and make it to the end. This is probably the only Sonic game that actually poses a challenge. If you make it to the end, it will be after many hard fought levels. Golden Axe is one of the best hack n' slash games ever made. You can pick one out of three characters to fight your way through 5 levels to the last boss (who is insanely hard BTW). Shining Force is one of the best RPG tactics games out there. I dont even like tactics games but I loved Shining Force. Streets of Rage 2 is much like Golden Axe but a little easier yet longer, and in modern day. A great game in its own right. Columns is Segas attempt at beating Tetris. While it isn't better than Tetris, it is still a fun arcade game and is incredibly challenging. Virtua Cop 2 is a really funny arcade shooter game that isn't that great but is still entertaining for a while. Phantasy Star 2 is a typical turn-based RPG but it is absolutely incredible. Everything from the storyline to the Genesis graphics is perfectly executed. Vectorman is a fun 2D action game where you play as a stickfigure-like character but he's made of little green balls. You have to fight your way through hordes of aliens to save your planet. Altered Beast is a fun game when you play with 2 people but kinda boring when you only play with one. You must fight a whole bunch of weird undead creatures after being brought back from the dead to save some princess from Hades or something like that. Great 2D side scroller but also incredibly difficult. Revenge of Shinobi remains one of the best 2D action games of all time. You play as a Shinobi that must avenge his fathers death and you must fight through a whole bunch of incredibly hard bosses and levels to get to the climactic ending. Very fun. Overall, this is a great pack and should be played by anyone who enjoys classic video games whether you had a Genesis or not. The one thing I didn't like about this pack is that it didn't have more of these great games. I recommend this to anyone.
