Very good looking point & click game with a good story. Just a shame the voiceacting makes you cringe at times

Alrighty, started playing this game not long after i finished "paradise" which was a big dissapointment for me, and i have very low standards for these type of game. as long as it's atmospheric, cosy and the voice acting isnt toooo shabby or corny...I'm in. Secret Files isnt something you've never seen before, or world changing. It's a lovely little adventure through various countries that kept me entertained enough to finish it in a few sessions spread out over a day or four.
I wont bother much with the story other then it is about Tunguska as the title says. If you never heard of it. I suggest to just look for it on the internet before playing. Even though it's explained to you in the game itself aswell. But a little pre-knowledge never hurts.

The puzzles in the game are not to hard to do. A lot of it is solved by trying to fit items in your inventory together till you get something, because some of the puzzles are plain silly. But that entertained me more than that it made me shut down the game in frustration or so. Point & click never really took logic over sillyness. Little side-note on this. The characters have little moments in the game where they become sort of self aware, and make little jokes about the point & click genre itself. for example when Nina (the lead..pretty much)has to carry a bucket with 2 hands because there is no handle on it. She then makes a little joke towards other P&C games where it wouldve been impossible to carry the bucket. Those little pokes/ jokes had me grinning a lot. The game itself looks great, lots of pretty and well designed areas will come your way. The cutscenes are also nice to watch. The character models itself also look good, except for the words coming out of their mouths which i'll come to in a second.

Yup.... i'll have to warn you that the voice acting goes from fairly ok, to horrible and even beyond. It raised my eyebrows more then once during the game, making me cringe at times to. For that i have to lower my score quite a bit. As it's sadly the female lead character that had me anoyed the most, i wouldnt have been bothered much if it were a few supporting villains or "supposed to be funny" sidekicks
The game was very stable on my computer. No crashes occured, no freezes and no weird ingame problems or so. That's all good and peachy.

All in all a nice adventure game that will keep you entertained long enough to the finish, if your willing to endure a bit of voice acting torture
