A great game anyone can enjoy.

Okay, Scott Pilgrim The Game is first and foremost a side scrolling Beat-em-up, akin to double dragon and the like. However, there are some fun differences that set it apart from the rest. One- A great Leveling system. The progression helps you move along, and since playing the levels multiple times is fun, grinding to beat that boss isn't a chore. Two- Great store system. Buying things works well in this game. Being able to buy items to heal, up your stats, or heal later all works very well. Three- Fun characters. Not much else to say here. However, there are some cons. First and foremost- Online play. Would have been great, but not having it doesn't detract from the fun of the game. Actually, that's the only real Con I can think of. All in all, It's definitely a fun game, with fun albeit subtle nods to the books. Scores: 7.0 if you know nothing about Scott Pilgrim, 8.0 if you've seen the movie, and 9.0 if you've read the books.
