I you liked the first game, then you'll love the second.

User Rating: 7.5 | Saw II: Flesh & Blood PS3
SAW 2 takes place directly after the events of the first game. You play as Michael Tapp, David's son, trying to figure out why his father commited suicide. As before, the game is set up into different chapters where you rescue a person from their trap. The traps this time around are pretty innovative, and some aren't that difficult to figure out. There are a lot of puzzles and the game is pretty easy, but kick it up to hard and some of them will have you thinking. The fighting system this time around is better than the last, but not great. They are timed button sequences this time around. Instead of being fearful of enemies around the corner swinging at you, you go up to them and then press the buttons. The atmosphere of the game is a perfect rendering of the SAW universe. There are a lot of booby traps behind doors, so don't expect to be flipping out because you stepped through that shotgun trip wire again. This time around, there are even more collectibles to pick up along the way. There are Billy dolls, puzzle pieces, case files, and audio tapes. Again, there are two endings. This time around though, you will have to play fully through the game twice. SAW 2 is pretty much a better version of the first game. Although I would have liked to have seen vaster improvements, Konami does the series good. If you liked the first game, than you will enjoy what this title has to offer.
