Samurai Warriors 2 was an amazing game, showing many iconic moments in Japanese literature and history and had many movies to view. Empires made the game better, allowing the player to control Japan and it's fate during the Sengoku Period.Though amazing, it was missing some features, the create-a-officer mode was not amusing, as you could make the officer in less than two minutes, and the skills and weapons available were not insufficient. The amount of unique characters was good, though many lords had generic models, making them look like their own retainers. The game is also quite addicting, due to it's vast amounts accomplishments. It is also quite amazing for it's portrayal of historical Japan. From the rise and fall of Nobunaga Oda, to the victory of Ieyasu Tokugawa in the Battle of Sekigahara. Overall Samurai Warriors 2 Empires are for players who are interested in a game where Strategy, History of Japan, and hack and slash are combined.
