fun game but not many events.

As a big Olympic Games fanatic, I love these kind of button bashing games as they are (usually) painless fun thatyou can pick up and have a laugh with for just a few minutes. The main problem with Salt Lake is that it really does only take a few minutes to see the entire game. There are only 6 events here, and if you thought Track and Field was stingy, suddenly this game makes Mr. Scrooge seem like a samaritan. Of the 6 events here, a lot of fun can be had, especially Bobsleigh, Aerials and the only event where you can really race head to head, snowboarding. The controls are easy to master, the graphics are crisp and the replays are complete with superb commentary, but with a complete lack of events, the game false starts before its in the stalls, it is a great shame that are not like over 10 events which would make the game even better than it is. The bobsleigh is one of the best events ever in winter olympics and salt lake 2002 does make sure bobsleigh is just the right diffcuilt so you don't get bored of the event easily, altough the controls are easy to use I haven't still won an head to head race but it is quite fun to have a go at. I would only recommend this game if you want to have some fun, but if you want a serious winter olympics game then this is not the one. As I only bought this game for fun I don't really spend much time on it but if your mates come round you can have a multiplayer tournament.
