A solid game ruined by a crappy port.

User Rating: 5 | Saints Row 2 PC
Saints Row 2, not much to say about the game. It speaks for itself with it's total outrageous gameplay. For those who didn't like Rockstar's venture toward realism, THIS was the true sequel to San Andreas.

But something happened when they made the port for PC. Something baaaaad. Because this game is truly one of the worst ports I've seen in my life.

The actual game is really fun. The diffrent side missions you can do, the amount of customization you have on your character, gang, ganghouse, cars, etc. The game is just CRAZY. It's perfect for 20-30 minutes to just unwind and have some pure fun.

I didn't have a console, so when it was announced for the PC, I was pretty happy. I looked forward to having GTA 4 AND Saints Row 2 and playing them both. When GTA 4 rolled in, it was a crappy port. I finished it because it was good, but that didn't change the fact that I had to tone the settings down. Then when Saints Row 2 came out, I got it expecting quality. I got nada.

It's a worse port than GTA 4 was. At least GTA 4 looked good, this game looked average at best when you had the settings up and when you had it on medium/low, it looked like a lastgen game. I couldn't give this game any lower because of how good it was. The story was meh but the gameplay made up for all of that and more. But I couldn't finish it, the port was too crappy for me to play any longer.

It's a good game, but not for the PC. Get it for the 360 or PS3 and be happy.
