Another thing im very exicted and cant wait for YAKUZA 3 which will be out in two weeks with english subtitles.
But i knoe the odd japanese words , not enough though.
Before buying this game i knew it would be a challenge , so i looked up anf found an exellent guide by thepatrick .
Beleive me YES majority of the game can be played without a guide , But that doesant mean you wont need it . Becuase there will be parts that you will need to figure out . And when the words mean nothing lol . you will be looking for a guide.
i never played the yakuza series before , but am a big fan of Japanese jidai geki era things , ie samurai . I loved onmiusha series on the ps2 , and this game an yakuza game based in samurai Japan just was to good to ignore.
The graphics are absolutly amazing , the atmosphere is brilliant. The soundtrack is awesome.
The visuals great , gameplay kicks ass , bare fists katana, double katana .
more weapons, great characters and animation.
But the only thing that took away my attention was that , if you follow the guide , thepatrick does good in telling the story.But its not enough.
for you to experiance better , you will need this in english subtitle ,
and belive me there is a lot of cutscenes and a lot of diologue.
if you are into samurai games and movies , defiently check this out But be sure to have a guide with you , otherwise it will be tough if you plan on completing the game , and belive me there soo much to do other than slashing , and i couldnit it all because of the language , even with the guide.
BUT thats why im looking soo foward to YAKUZA 3 , cuz its finally in english subtitles.
