Some improvements and some disappointments...
There are definite improvements to the duel and debate modes which is a nice touch. The portraits and music are still top notch, however I am not liking the new all one map mode that much (one view to do all wars and such). I do love how they incorporated more 3d action like that was a big deal.....The graphics are WAY behind. I am a true fan of this series and I think you get rapped up in it , because of the history and the immersive game play. But I pray Koei truly adds some big content next time or they will find that even devoted fans may start to dwindle away. OH and bring back the old scroll menu, the new one takes to long to do. Overall solid game if you want a challenge and a lot of hours to kill. Also doesn't hurt that you can make like a whole army of created characters and throw them in the game. Rise of Heroes mode is also a welcome addition. If you are new to the series......be careful, it will take more patience than the average gamer has. If you want faster gratification, play Dynasty Warriors: Empires.
