Rogue galaxy almost live up to the extremely high expectations I had for it since it was develop by level 5 who was responsible for the game dark cloud 2 which is also one of my favorite rpg games for the ps2.Even though it has its flaws Rogue galaxy is a amazing game that must be played by almost everyone who owns a ps2 and loves rpgs.
Pros-Great cg/anime cutscenes,cool worlds,incredible endless depth,fun real time combat,cool boss fights,great music,cool characters
Cons-repetive missions,some dungeons are too repetitive and long,some story elements are too predictable
Story-8.0 Fine for the most part but some elements feel too used up and predictable.
Graphics-9.5 Great cutscenes and worlds show much depth,characters look great but there is some repitition going on with the dungeons.
Sound-9.5 An incredible soundtrack even though some of the songs get old when there played on the same dungeon for a while along with the battle theme. Great voice acting with most characters though some are annoying.
Gameplay-9.0 Alot of fun with the real time combat and a incredible amount of depth. Some enemies are just no fun to fight and get repetitive fast.
Value-10 Alot of depth to this game is all I have to say. Im still not completely finish with unlocking everything.
Overall-9.0 A must have for fans of rpgs/level 5 fans/ps2 owners.
