Seemed kinda a dull at first but picked up rapidly after that. Great response to a real guitar. Very accurate. The steady progression of difficulty works great! Amp option is amazing. Lots of dollars in sound equipment to replicate this. Great list of songs for beginning guitarists. Also love the arcade style mini games. A very different approach to learning fret positions, picking and scales. I had been playing for about 8 months. Already learned some things I really didn't understand before. This is the first game without sampling that I am aware of. What you play is what you hear on the song and after the song the game plays it back for you to hear every note you just played. I would recommend this to any beginning guitarist and to anyone who was trying to learn from the other game that claims to teach how to play guitar.
