This game was pretty bad, and I'm pretty bored. So I'll be the first EVER to write a player review on it for Gamespot!

User Rating: 4.5 | Rocko's Modern Life: Spunky's Dangerous Day SNES
Ok so the game was given to me as a birthday gift from some people whom my parents were friends with. I can't remember much about them, except that I didn't like them. Something I remember vividly though is the son, whom I hated the most from the family, told me that he knew that his gift was gonna be my favorite. As crappy as the game was, getting any videogame on my birthday would be my favorite gift.

I was a big fan of the show and it was real funny so I was excited to play the game. The game revolves around Rocko's stupid ass dog Spunky, who doesn't seem to know the difference between pain or pleasure, is blind to any danger that may be in his path, and has no freewill to stop or go the opposite direction under any circumstance.

As a kid I never cared what the objective of the game was or how difficult it was to accomplish it, I always wanted to finish what I started and be able to figure out how to do it. Basically as Rocko you're running all over the place and getting rid of obstructions and making potentially dangerous situations go away, such as pelicans, deep water, dog eating garbage trucks and more. The only actions you have are punching, tail whips, jumping and picking up Spunky and redirecting his path. At the end of every level you have to guide him to a golden fire hydrant so he can piss on it.

The game is a brain teasing puzzle at best, it is very tedious and it can drive you nuts waiting for the damn dog or knowing that the reason Spunky is dieing is because he walked through a pond and drowned to death. The only circumstance I would pay for this crap is on the Wii network for 5 bucks and laugh at how crappy the game is and having a fun time at losing because Spunky is stupid, and don't be surprised that a lot of alcohol is involved in this equation. The game is lousy but it offers some nostalgia for any fans of the show.
