After a long wait, fans of Sparkster the Opossum are treated to a second sequel.

Rocket Knight Adventures on the Genesis was one of the best 2D platformers of all time. It looked great, and it was difficult to complete. Thankfully this long awaited remix more than does it justice. Featuring all new levels, brilliant updated cartoon graphics, and a reasonably stiff challenge, this will definitely satisfy those who enjoyed the original so much. Sparkster's unique rocket pack enables him to boost in any direction, and ricochet off walls, which proves useful for scaling great heights.
As per usual, the bosses are stunning, and in true Konami fashion, they are huge and scary. The updated graphics and sound bring the game into the new millennium with true style, and the game mechanics have barely changed, with smooth controls, and fast-paced game-play. Rocket Knight is a fantastic adventure which perfectly balances the old and the new. Essential.
