The Worst Game Ever? It would make someone with a lobotomy cry. The Answer: Affirmative.
In fact to even have it on the same platform as Deus Ex, Duke 3D, UT, even BIG RIGS, is an insult to gaming and gamers alike.
Where to start other than the ashes as the result of a a cremated coffin with a copy of the game inside and shot off into space to fend off a horde of Martians? Well let's start with what matters - Gameplay.
The game itself is disastrous. If you like your FPS to be uninspired, boring and totally unfun, then this game may raise one of your eyebrows. At first when you think to step into Robocop's shoes you think you're in for a Shoot First Ask Questions Later game. But this is not true. You see some enemies surrender and you have to walk up to them and press the 'use' key. Then they fade away into nothing. A reward for your duty as a good cop.
If you love Crates, then you'll love this game. However Robocop's crosshair lets you know if theres items in the crates so you don't have to open them all. How convenient!
The graphics look pre 1998. The levels look terrible and are totally boring. The enemies are just bland and plain. And there's nothing pretty that motivates you to play along. There's no violence. No blood! Wah?
Sound is terrible. Just plain bad. Ensure your speakers areturned down. you get the picture. Imagine hearing millions of steel fingernails down a empire state building sized chalkboard in full surround sound stereo maxed out DTS. Then multiply that by infinity and plus it by one. Thats how bad it is.
It's not worth the $2 to keep your computer playing the game. Even if it was free.
Overall the only up side is the chance to play the worst game around. Or a chance to fry your brain and amaze yourself about how a game like this could have been SO BAD. It would make someone with a lobotomy cry.
