Is this game trying to be a fast speed type game or an actual platformer, doesn't quite choose.

I had this game as a kid and I didn't think it was too bad of a game but I usually liked any game as a kid though. I remember being able to get through the first level but nothing else. Only did I see my friend once get as far as the ending of the third level. Yeah and you know why I never saw someone beat this game? Because they only give you two lives. No I'm not kidding two lives that's it and no continues. How is a kid that this game is targeted too, supposed to beat this game!

The Story: Well there really isn't much of a story basically the game is like the cartoon, after you beat the level Wile E will end up flying into a wall or falling down somewhere, it's actually quite funny. So basically there is no story.

Presentation: The presentation for this game is actually not bad, as I mentioned before after you beat a level you will get a funny cut scene of Wile E hurting himself and honestly it's really funny. Each level looks pretty good too, nothing too special but it's somewhat a joy to the eyes. The music is not too memorable but it's not bad. The game does have somewhat of a charm too it, but it's honestly just not going to be one of the most memorable games you will ever play.

Gameplay: This is when it starts getting really bad the controls are absolutely horrific, God awful, The reason is because they are so fast paced and the jumping can feel so slippery, as I mentioned in my opening sentence you have to make a choice of what you want a game to be, do you want it to be a fastpaced game like Sonic, or a major platformer like Mario, and this is the games huge problem it doesn't distinguish on what it wants to be. It makes the game so hard because it's hard for the game to think if they should go really fast or slow down. I also mentioned that you are only given two lives, there are also no continues and no password system, this is total bull$h%# how are you supposed to beat 5 really hard levels with only two lives, and technically it's really fifteen levels, the game labels them as only 5 levels but it's honestly 3 parts each level has three parts and in my book should technically be called levels, so who has the patience to beat this game in one go! There is an extra life code that you can use that will give you 75 lives, but who at this time would know the password! There are some alright boss battles and there are others that are so bad that you have to just get lucky on them. There is one on the train level that actually isn't bad, all you have to do is dodge bombs and then peck them at the train that Wile is riding and that's it, it's pretty challenging but in a good way, and then there's another boss battle where you must peck the floor while you run away from the machine that Wile is controlling there is no skill too it you must just get lucky. After you beat a boss a fat lady will come in and start to sing. I get that this is just a joke (meaning it's over when the fat lady sings obviously) but after hearing this after every boss battle it gets really old. Once you get to the last level you realize you are in space with Marvin the Martian that makes a lot of sense right! The last three parts are an annoying maze and after that an annoying maze I nearly depleted all my seventy five lives but I beat the game to get a somewhat funny ending but after that a rank taste in my mouth.

Overall this game is a mess from the controls to the unbearable boss fights. This game will make no one happy to play no fans of the cartoons, no platforming fan, nobody. Just do yourself a favor and don't pick this one up.
