Good game for all people who enjoy harvest moon, animal crossing and like catch'em all formula. Highly addictive!

I always enjoy fishing mini games in rpg titlesand River King gives me the same pleasure with more comlicated mechanism (similar to that in Breath Of Fire IV for PlayStation). Good game for all people who enjoy harvest moon, animal crossing and like "catch'em all" formula.

+ over 100 fishes
+ many fishing spots
+ highly addictive
+ game mechanism (not to easy, not too complicated)
+ lenght; over 20 hours to beat, many more to master
+ raising monsters

- week story
- many rodes and equipment but not much difference in their performance

graphics:
7/10 similar to harvest moon but with more natural pictures of fishes

sound:
7/10 music is almost absent (you have to hear when the fish bites) but the enviromental sounfs are very good

gameplay:
8/10 higly addictive

value:
8/10 If you play this game in little doses you can have fun with "River King" for months

overall: this is niche title for those who enjoy fishing game, but in his genre it is great. It's relaxing and simple fun. Those who look for realism could be a little dissapointed
