The perfection of imperfection

RIFT seems an old-school MMORPG with the new feature around! Is not perfect, however Trion is always working on it!

I've been playing this game for 2 or 3 months. I've seen many way to have fun in this game... you can do your PVE quest and dive deep in the immersive Talara's world story, you can enjoy the raid groups closing the rifts, you can live in the arenas making flavor points (good to buy great gears), you can improve your craft skills and be a Chief cooking foods to refresh your stats or regen your mana.

Something new? No. However the game has dynamic! I didnt reach the endgame yet, but i see many ways opening throughout my game-playing. Even a little environment of the game has something good to explore and get some benefit with it. Dont worry, the environment owns you. The NPCs, villages, cities, everything in this game may interact with you. The game is not static. You dont need to ask "what's up?", the environment shows to you.

Nowadays the MMOs dont make you feel "Oh my god, nice mounting.. great lake... awesome landscape!" You just sitdown and ask "What's the new?"

I cant understand why ppl avoid the old good things bound in the Fantasy MMORPG with different style. I know, the game needs to have something new in its content. RIFT has the 2 sides of the coin. The new and the old in the same box. You start with the old-school and when you realize you are in the new world.

Why not "Score: 10"?
Simple. The game lacks some stuffs those are needed! It hasnt the non-tradictional fantasy stuffs like fashions, fly-mounts and some fun bauble. The skills animations arent so good and some craft system is useless.

The game is great! If you like Fantasy MMO you have to try it. RIFT Litle is free from 1 to level 20.
