Rhythm Heaven/Rhythm Paradise, The name says it all.

User Rating: 9.5 | Rhythm Tengoku Gold DS
Rhythm Paradise (Heaven in America) is probably one of the best music rhythm games that i have played to doate and wont stop playing. the intuativity of the controls and the cathy music to boot makes this game all worthwhile.

Story: What story, not much of a story but rather its a rhythm game, however each minigame comes with its own small backstory that you find out after you complete it. whether your a builder on an assembly line, filling up robots with fuel or, my persoal favourite, a clapping monkey in a fan club calpping for your idol. the story is not needed because the gameplay is all that is needed.

Gameplay: it packs it in and it's great for £30. With 50 main minigames and an extra 20 something extra its alot to offer with the music keeping you coming back for more. the songs are catchy and make you do absoutely crazy things to make music but there soo random that it makes it all better. Two guys playing Ping-Pong makes some music, Connecting a round peg in-between two squares with round holes, makes music. A Guy slapping wrist so boiled eggs are thrown into his mouth makes music. it gets more and more hilarious with some games making little things to put you off like in any games involving other people if you mess uo everybody throws you a dirty look. The 'Egg-Fu' guy gets hit in the face if you mess but you'll also wonder who's handing you those eggs because three different hands show up. in his scond game you can either focus on playing the game or looking at the cutesy Pink Elephants playing the brass chorus with mice helping wit the presses on the trumpets. over this game offers alot. there is alo a system of getting medals. if you do well enough in a game you get a gold and on a rare occasion you can get a chance to d a Perfect game with no mistakes so get practising.

Music: whats a rhythm game without good music and this has it. The music is catchy, upbeat and vibrant and you'll love hearing the tracks. the songs are verygood nd i cant fault them. theres no proper way to review them so you'll have to play the game to get the best out of it.

Extras: the extra minigames come in the form of ryhtm toys wherby you tap or slide or whatever corresponding movement to create the music, Endless Games where you play for an unlimited amount of time just making good music and the Guitar Lessons where you get to play the Rockers minigame to other songs. all of these are medal driven so to play them all, you have to get medals so try and try again.

Faults: I only have 2 faults for this game which is:
1: the perfect challenges are extremely random, so they can be extremely hard. If they had made a system whereby you could activate the challenge whenever you felt ready would have been better so long as you have a gold medal in that level

2:sometimes the songs can be really cheap when it comes to getting golds. even 1 mistake means you only get an ok. i think their should be an explained limit for each game on how many mistakes you can make in a game as nobody is perfect all of the time.

Overall, this game is on my list must haves for DS. this by far is easily a great DS game. MInus the 2 faults its perfect to a point. a well deserved 9.5 to Rhythm Paradise and a definite must buy for the DS
