When I first bought this game I watched a pretty little intro and then was dumped into a game in which I died in the first fight. After you get past The How does this thing work factor the combats fun and intuitive which at first glance looks pretty simple but it has a plethora of depth to it. I quite liked the graphical style in this game with all the attention to detail such as cogs turning and steam rising through cracks in the roads but in terms of graphics it's no Final Fantasy. I don't want too comment too much on the story here in case I inadvertently let a spoiler slip but I would say it's a fair amount different too most other jrpgs all though i suppose it couldn't help but be with it's steam punk setting. If you don't enjoy a fair amount of repetition then I doubt this games for you but if that doesn't put you off I would say it's a must have for any jrpg lover.
