Unlike most trilogies Resistance 3 ends up being the best yet.
In terms of gameplay it goes back to the roots of the first game with an energy bar and not a regenerating health system. The guns bascially remain the same as the last game but the game does feel to have a better pacing to it
The game is pretty straightforward and you won't get lost your other troops will probably help you in battle at sometimes. The enemies range from Chimera with guns,to charges to big Brutes and even little insects at times. You will though encounter certain boss like creatures from time to time and even some regular soldiers,
In terms of visuals it is an outstanding achievement by Insomniac and it's good also there are various locations like a laboratory and train battle to help keep the pace up. The bosses you encounter are really good one of the them actually keeps following you without you noticing it for a while and it adds up to a great chase scene.
The game lastly roughly around the same length as the others but the multiplayer is solid as well and also there's always Journals and Trophies to go back for too.
Overall Resistance 3 is a fitting way to end a trilogy the game seems more story driven than the other 2 in the series. A game worth playing through and worth your time.
