The singleplayer is just fine, and in fact is quite expertly told, erstwhile the cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes are both enhanced to an almost flawless operation, there's often no lag and plenty of players in both modes.
The audio is clear and crisp, with an impressive soundtrack which blends military drum beats and trumpets together with atmospheric orchestrations, creating a mood of both militant defiance as well as sorrowful reflection toward the devestation that has been brought on by the Chimeran scourge.
Clan management for multiplayer can be taken to a higher level on the official resistance website "Myresistance.net" where you can set up competitions and a whole number of other things.
Character animations are run of the mill for a shooter, so there's nothing new there. Collectibles scattered throughout the singleplaer campaign and cooperative missions will grant you concept art, documents, and experience points which will help level up your cooperative character class.
Overall, there's just something about the game that just really endears the player, perhaps it's the weaponry and online play, or perhaps its the universe itself, but what remains certain is just how enjoyable the title really is.
