Resistance 2 honestly has an actually good story that will drive you through the game, but if you're looking for story with this game, you won't be overwhelmed or blown away. What resistance 2 will give you is gunplay that will knock your socks off and glue you to your seat. If you have a good sound system, this game will help you put it to good use. I can't remember how many times I had to look behind my couch cause I thought I actually heard something in my house but was only in the game. The sound is amazing, the graphics are awesome and the creatures are insane. Insomniac's one big strength as we know from games like ratchet and clank and Infamous are weaponry. They know how to design weapons. And you won't get a feel of this until you shoot a revolver at an aliens head and then press another button and watch the head explode. I have to say this has to be one of the most satisfying feelings you'll ever get from a video game. I'm not entirely happy about the story and the main character is a bit bland for my taste, but like I said, this game isn't something you play for story.
it does feature very rich content, like co op with an alternate story, an awesome multiplayer and more. Resistance 2 is one of the PS3's best shooters and I hope the series makes a landing on the PS4.
