Challenging, scary and fun.
This is the best Resident Evil game I've played in a while. Challenging and scary, yet fun. It has your standard zombies poking about ready to eat your brains, giant spiders, crazy bloodthirsty dogs, evil plants, killer bees and even sharks, yes sharks! All while avoiding and taking these strange monsters down you will have to solve puzzles along the mansion leading you to uneasy-feeling places to uncover the truth behind what Umbrella is plotting in Racoon City.
This game is what all Resident Evil games should aspire to be.
A scary survival horror set in janky angles with creepy music, multiple endings,character selection (Chris or Jill) for different storylines, unlockable costumes, weapons, and difficulties give it decent replay value.
Playing through the game on hard the first time was brutal enough, running from zombies, trying to conserve ammo, figuring out where to go. After it all, a second playthrough just isn't as scary or challenging anymore. Now I speed run through it all trying to unlock what I can. Oh well, it was the best survival experience I've had in a while.
If you haven't played this game, PLAY IT. This is one of my recommended games for anyone who thinks they're old enough to play it. I gave this game an 8 only because I think there's room for improvement, but otherwise, an excellent game. One of the best Resident Evil has to offer.
