This is what happens when you repair what aint broken.
it basically goes like this: you are part of some douchebag squad of agents that was sent by umbrella to mutants and zombies infested raccoon city, to destroy all evidence who is responsible for this mess. remember that i said squad? yeah forget about sense of survival horror and the wild struggle to survive. you have 3 buttbudies with you, so that 13 years old boys who play cod wont S@~! their pants while playing this. oh and here is kicker: you fight against human soldiers. damn i cant collect my thoughts while writing this because all i can think of now is: THIS GAME IS S.IT!!! Graphics of this game are nothing much and if you though that GTA 4 is badly optimized wait till you see this.
game play is extremely boring, you just run around, shoot stuff, run some more shoot more stuff, throw a few grenades, and then do it all again. virus creations aren't threatening nor scary and overall atmosphere is none. background is dull and boring and no location resembles its re 2 or re 3 counterpart.
sounds and music: normally; i don't write about something like this, but this time i must address this. people who made sounds and music should be shot on the spot. its utter crap and my ears hurt even now that i don't play it.
story: same thing as first three games, but they could at least tell it in some interesting way before.
overall feeling : this game is nothing but crappy try hard to appease cod fanboys. whoever made this game should be ashamed to call this resident evil.
