Buggy, not fun, unpleasant to look at, destroys lore. Hopefully 6 is nothing like this.

User Rating: 5.5 | Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City X360
PROS:

- The classic zombie, crimson heads, hunters, lickers, Mr. X, the nemesis and William Birkin all make appearances. Very rich enemy environment.

- Some fun unlockables including many different types of weapons.

- Several different playable characters with some interesting abilities.

- Possible to play through the entire campaign without getting bored to death, given how short it is.

CONS:

- Invisible walls, clipping issues, unreliable cover system, enemies "aimbot" and swapping weapons / reviving teammates can be a conflicting nightmare as they share the same prompt.

- A non-canon story that takes very few ques from Resident Evil lore before spinning off in it's own direction.

- Fairly poor and annoying voice acting that will spout the same catch phrases over and over when a certain action is performed.

- Falls flat in it's attempt to be a Left 4 Dead-like shooter. Teamwork is rarely necessary beyond reviving each other or the rare occurrence of a licker tounge-grab, which is often ignored by the typical online player anyway given it breaks naturally.

- Latency issues present, hidden by lack of a ping bar.

Bottom Line: Send a message to Capcom by passing this one up. Much like the old Resident Evil Surviver, it's a mere cash-in on the namesake, nothing more.
