This is a Great game with a well thought out storyline and a Mercenaries mode you will be hooked on for days to come.
Graphics:The Graphics are very well done,There are very few Low res spots in the game and they have really pushed the bluray graphics to the point where you can say that you have seen some incredibly polished characters on screen,All of the big creatures as well as Cut-Scenes look spectacular.overall the graphics in this game are great,One of the most polished games on the PS3 yet,This game truly does show the good side of the PS3 in a great manner.
Sound:The sounds and music in the game are very well done,The sound infected make are just perfect and so are the voices of glass shattering against your head,Getting an arrow shot at you as well as the laughter the Chainsaw majini makes,Also the voices of the main characters are very well done.The sound is top-notch.
Storyline:The Storyline features you (Chris) and your partner (Sheva) to free Africa from the infection and stop the mastermind Wesker.Now the storyline follows you two through out Africa and also gives a good taste of different kinds of infected along the way,One thing that is a problem is that it seems that Chris and Sheva are too ok with just the two of them trying to stop Wesker which does not make a lot of sense at all but it fits well with the storyline.The gameplay also reflects well from the storyline and you will definetly like the story you will get from RE5.The cut scenes are well polished and look like an animated movie.After you finish the storyline ,the last cut-scene looks like it is a movie ending.It is a great storyline that will make you want to play through it more than once.
Online:The Online mode seems like an afterthought becaue all you can do is team up with another player online and play through the storyline,there is not competetive online mode which would fit well in the game actually.The Online seems rather useless as the game could be more polished and more well done without the online trouble.As we already have coop offline/Split screen,We dont actually need an online mode providing us to play with another player online the same thing we could do with a friend offline.
The Mercenaries mode.Is great,It is something you will find yourself playing time and time again as it is very addictive.The Mercenaries gives a longer lifespan for this game because after finishing the storyline maybe you dont want to play the story anymore so you kick back with the mercenaries.
The mercenaries is a great addition to the game.

OVERALL:This game is a great action game and as a lot of people have said that this is not a horror game,which is completely true altough there are a couple of places that will scare you but this is an all action game,not an horror game.The gameplay is good as well as Graphics and Sound are well done and the Online seems for me as an after thought BUT the mercenaries saves this game and gives it a longer lifespan,also does the different difficulty levels and also the trophy system,By all means play this game as I give this game my seal of improval,I suggest this game a 100 %,give this game a shot or rent it.
