No playability, bad controlling...
I have written almost same reviews for the Dead Space but unfortunately editors deleted it. I hope they let this review stay. Anyway, i tried game pad controlling and it is very slow to react against enemy attacks (using buttons are even better) and shoot aiming or using the knife is very difficult. After that i tried keyboard controlling, it seems a bit better while moving and turning around even with complicate key combinations. First of all you cannot attack while walking. You use Space+LMB to use the knife but that immobilises you (cannot walk, even cannot turn around). This is really disaster because you get hit from enemies very quickly. Gun aiming is also very hard, it is too much vibrating. So you cannot focus on enemies easily. Special attacks need special keys but it is already difficult to aim normal attacks how you can make special attacks.
That kind of games (third person RPG) need auto aim system like Batman Arkham Asylum, Prototype, Spider man,.. or make it a real FPS game.
I don't know PS3 or XBOX version but PC adapted version fails at controlling.
I have paid almost 50$ to this game but it seems i will never play it again. I hope they make a useful patch to it.
Try it before buying if you can. Maybe controls should fit you.
