Although it done little to the resident evil formula, being chased by a unstoppable monster has never been so fun.

It seems just like most of the old resident evil games. Same gameplay but different character, but theres more to it this time.

Your Jill Valentine one of the two main characters from the first resident evil game, this is months after the mansion incident in the first game.

Jill and Chris(characters from resident evil 1) failed to warn everyone about the danger of the T-Virus. Everyone has become a zombie, but its no surprise, this is Raccoon city. The same place you were at in Resident evil 2.

It seems this game is based before resident evil 2's story starts, but then later on in the game Jill is still stuck in the zombie infested city whilst Leon and Claire(characters from resident evil 2) escape. You even explore the Police station(main place in resident evil 2) before Leon is supposed to arrive there.

Characters being chased in horror movies makes you feel really uneasy and you find yourself shouting "RUN YOU STUPID WOMAN!" (most of the time its women) just becuase of how horrifying it is. Well in this game you actually get to feel what its like to be chased in this way, by Nemesis, who is basicly a huge unstoppable monster.

No game has made me feel so uneasy than the moments in this game, when you hear a smash and then Nemesis's waiting music starts (this extremely creepy music) you walk around expecting him to jump out from every corner, then when you least expect it "SMASH!" he comes threw a window and whacks you across the room, you run threw a door, only to hear the door open a second time as he rushes threw and smacks you again. If any game ever manages to beat the horror of those moments from this game, i will eat my head.
