personally i think this game's fun, but there seem to be many who dont have the same opinion, so i think you should simply try it yourself instead of seeing what others say about it... (i would have been sorry if i listened to most of people's opinions and not tried this game)
if you like games where you upgrade your character during the game (installing new weapons and getting new "slots" where to place the weapons) and you like deathmatch kind of games (just kill whoever's in your way and dont let them kill you) you might like this...
