I bought this game, admittedly, because the cover looked good. well, you can't judge a game by it's cover either. Red Ninja is awful. There is no real plot line, other than the treid, tested, broken , fixed and broken again method of "you killed my father/mother/mentor/panda etc."The cut scenesshow that some kid is usurping his fathers position in the clan, perhaps because his oice is so annoying, everyone seems to go along with it, though everyone in the same room as him is more than capableof killing him.
The gameplay is worse. Some games are difficult but give you pointers. some games are idiotproof and don't have to. Red Ninja is difficult yet gives you little to no help. wall running and jumping become shortcuts to your nearest mental asylum in some of the later levels. Then there are the ridiculously unbalanced bosses. All capable of killing you at a few blows.
Do not purchase this game, the heroine is pretty, yet even she cannot save the game from itself.
