DLC from the great red dead redemption just as great too
this is a complete game in itself dispite being a DLC but is worth every penny.
this takes an already great game concept and turns it into a zombie fest.
the entire game map has become infested with zombies following certain events i wont spoil, john gets mixed up in all this when his wife and son also become infected. Think resident evil and your there, get bitten and you get infected. except john doesent become infected if attacked.
this keeps the same game map but turns it into a zombie/mutant nightmare, There is less focus on lawlessness and more focus on a desperate attempt for people to survive so if your looking for tradional wild west go back to redemption.
gameplay, controls and general mechanics follow suit from redemption with a few weapon additions for good measure aswell as some new items for dealing with undead hoards. ammo is harder to come by and there is no money here so conserve what you have. gold is worthless in a time where ammo is in demand.
there are new storyline missions to contend with aswell as a few side missions and a whole new town protection feature which see's you saving towns from undead hordes thus making them safe to roam (for awhile anyway).
there are new creatures to hunt, new mythical mounts including the 4 horses of the apocalypse.
basically if you take redemption and add resident evil to the mix you have this which is a real gem of a game and certainly worth the download cost.
If you like redemption then this will give you some extra thrills along with a completely reworked ending to the redemption story, well slightly reworked anyway.
