ONE EPIC EXPERIENCE!!!
Graphics: The graphics are really good(the environment looks gorgeous), they're definitely not perfect, but for Rockstar games it's a step forward. Everything looks amazing.
Sound: Voice acting is top-notch. Sound of animals and weapons are fairly realistic.Also the soundtrack's great.
Story: It's a typical western story, but a great one with some memorable and fun characters.The dialogues were really well written.
It's about former outlaw John Marston, who's wife and son have been kidnapped by the governament. So to get them back, John has to hunt down his former gang members.I'm not going to continue as I'm sure you have read it in another review ;). I must admit this was an amazing storyline. As far as I know there will be a movie based on RDR.
Gameplay: Similar gameplay to Gta 4, but not identical, I wouldn't call it ''Gta:Horse'' by any circumstance :)
There is a auto-aim, but you can choose whether to use ir or not.There is a dead eye system, where time slows down so you can mark muliple enemies to shoot at.
Also there is no more a life bar, which ,in my opinion wasn't a good idea, because the game lacks some challange, it doesn't have difficulty levels.The duels are a fun touch.You can be a bad or a good guy in this game, but it does't affect the story.There are a lot stuff to do, the map is really big, from sunny mexican boarders to snovy mountains. It's located in the U.S.A and Mexico borderline in West.So when you're boored of the storyline(I doubt that's gonna happen), you can ''clean'' some gang hideots, gamble some money, playing poker or blackjack and other games, or play online competitive or free room.There is 4 people coop, which is really awsome.There is about 15 outfits you can unlock, but it's not easy to unlock them, as you're asked to do some tasks first.You can also hunt , bounty hunt, as well as do some sidemissions, or do some challanges.Overall there is a lot to do in this game.You can travel through map with stagecoaches, horses or you can also camp(that way you will be teleported to your marked spot.)The selection of weapons is varied enough, there are repeaters, rifles, pistols, revolvers,sniper rifles, dynamites, even a machinegun.
Overall: This game is awsome and a definite buy.Some minor glitches and lack of challange weren't good enough of arguments to give this game a worse score.It's not a perfect game, because there is no such thing as a perfect game...
