I have to say that I really like red dead redemption. It is probably the best game that I have played in a long time. When this came out I really wa not too interested in getting it. I did not see the whole reason to have the zombie aspect added to an already great game. Basically what it is is that marston's family gets bitten and turns into zombies. You as marston have to ride out and try to find out what is the cause of this zombie outbreak. The story is pretty basic and the missions are pretty basic as well. As most zombie movies you have to shoot the zombies in the head to put them down so you can see where the problems can occur. You have to try to help clear out the zombie hordes from attacking towns. After awhile you end up running in a circle so that your precision shooting can build up to get those all important head shots. I would have to say there are around 15 total missions and you have to help out like 20+ towns. After you do most of that the game is finished so it should take a normal player probably a weekend or so to finish this game. The animals have been zombified so you also get the joy of dealing with them also. Head shoots galore I tell you. After you solve the game it seems like you can keep playing as a zombie marston.. even more fun I tell you. This game is fun because RDR is fun in itself. If you have not played the original then playing this one is a great alternative. I would def say play the original before you play this version. Graphics are good music well is ok.. You see the towns and the game is a whole new light. The zombies are all over the place but again the whole running around in a circle while you meter building up tends to get boring after awhile. You have a bunch of zombies running after you in a circle.. too funny. Also the whole camping out and going to another town is eliminated. You have to go into a town and then do the fast travel to another spot. Unless you like the rockstar constant of traveling on horse for 5 mins to another town (yes GTA has it also.. driving for mins to get to a place). This game is a lot of fun and really worth a purchase even though its pretty short and leaves you wanting more. If you have not plays the original then definitely skip this one and get the first one.
