In 1987, this was battlecar racing at it's finest.... Twisted Metal eat your heart out.

RC Pro-Am was, as far as I can remember, the first car racing game that featured remote control cars.... if I am correct, it is also the first racing game to use missle attacks. These two facts in themselves make RC Pro-Am an instant classic, not to mention that the game was insatiably enjoyable.

The goal here is to race our RC car throughout levels, obviously trying to win. However, in your way you will have oil slicks, water slicks, obstacles, and other cars trying to dismantle you. Some of these tracks are very hard, and provide exceptional replay value. You almost have to memorize every track to beat this game. Quick reflexes here are a must.... trying to hit every speed boost is nigh impossible, but this doesn't stop RC Pro-Am from being an absolute blast.

After every race, you can upgrade your car, depending on the position you finished in. You can also earn trophies that you see every race. This is somehow exceedingly satisfying.

The only things I can say bad about this game are the noise that is meant to replicate exhaust and the cheap AI. Missles will sometimes hit you from absolutely nowhere. Besides these factors, Pro-Am is worth the ebay price.
