Almost 13 years from now Rayman was released, and it goes down as a historical game.

User Rating: 9.5 | Rayman PS
Rayman is a 2d game, Now don't let that put you off. It is still a great game and its very fun.
You play in a sort of 'Mario' setting, you go from world to world from level to level. Each level is unique and different but towards the end of the game it feels to get repeative.

Theres two things I really want to discuss about this game which put it together as one of the Best PS1 games of all time.

1: Music.
Never before in a video game have I seen a game that has its own music and it is themed out. The music is perfect for each level and gives the game an amazing feel which will not be forgotten. Most games tend to use the same music for each level, but here every level has its own music. There is a cool trick you can do where you put the PS1 disc in a stereo Player and it plays the music, Never tried that but I will have to some day.

2:
Gameplay:
I did state before that it does get a bit repetitive, but each world is different, with different enemies and you get the idea. The whole game is set out just like a classic Mario game, You go from one world to another, along the way you have some animals trapped in a cage which you need to get, I never knew Why. But the cages are set out well, and are very hard to find. The game has that style like, 'If you go away, then come back its there' which is tricky and a bit frustrating.

Overall:
If you are into the sort of Adventure 2d games, then this is a must buy. You can pick it up on the Playstation Network. Connect your PSP, Pay £3.99 for it and Sony have a cool way of downloading it. You download a file extension and you download the game to the PSP. Its a good idea and you can download it as many times as you like.

I rate it 9.5 out of 10.
