When I saw this in the game marketplace on March 21, I almost fell out of my chair in excitement. Right away I downloaded the demo and I got so many flashbacks from when I was a little kid. Right away I purchased the game in a heart-beat without even thinking. This port is just simply amazing. The graphics are up-to-date to what we have today. One thing that I noticed was the awesome soundtrack. I don't normally notice a game's soundtrack, but this one stood out from the others with it's originality and its blood-pumping and eerie songs it comes with that goes perfect with the game. The gameplay is just like the original. You play as Rayman and to attack, you must throw your fists at the enemy or kick them when up close. Also, there are many assorted power-ups that come in the form of cans like the Green Can that gives you Tornado Hands that spin the enemies or the Blue Can that gives you Electric Grappling Chains that let you grapple onto rings in the air and latch onto enemies and shock them with a jolt of electricity. There are also many difficult bosses that need a planned out strategy in order to defeat them. There are many ports of original games out there that are not the same as you experienced them, but this port of Rayman 3 is perfect and will bring you back to the days. Rayman 3 HD is simply astonishing!
