Great introduction to a fantastic franchise.

Ratchet and Clank is fun. One thing that really blew me away was the fantastic level design. I almost never felt lost in the levels, they looked great, and the outdoor levels really made you feel like you were outside in that environment with lots of backdrop action. The colour pallette used is also very appropriate and appealing. The action is abundent and fun. The fluid controls make it that much easier to enjoy. There's a heafty selection of unique weapons, however I always felt like I had to preserve them for the big fights.
The difficulty level is appropriate, without much frustration. However the final boss with definitely give you a run for your money. The variety of baddies overall is impressive, and keeps the combat interesting.
The Ratchet and Clank series is one of my favourite for the PS2, and I'd recommend anyone to pick this game up.
