For its time, a great game, one of the best PS2 platformers out there and a great classic.

The third game in the popular and classic Rachet and Clank series, and its one of the best in the series. The setting of the game is in a distanct galaxy (hopefully not too far from ours :P) in a Galaxy called Solana ( I believe thats how its spelled). The story is decent with our two heros, Rachet-the Lombax(the yellow Cat/tiger like alien) and Clank(the robot/backpack). They must face Dr Nefarious with his evil robot army which will provide you with hours of blowing sh** up. His plans.. enslave the whole Galaxy, and get revenge on the Squishes(organics) for what they did to him (some thing you should discover yourself). There is great cast of characters, from smart, to funny and others, like Captain Quark whos only used for funny remarks and conwarding behind you. The weapons are out of this world, with crazy weapons which return from other R&C games, such as the Agents of Doom, and new weapons which are just as deadly, just as the rift inducer. There is a plentful of extras to collect, including Bolts, Gold bolts, creature souls, and skill points to achieve to unlock extra content, which should keep you playing if really care about this stuff. Also the areas is perhapes the best of the series, with a wide variety of Rounds, including a semmingly immpossible challenge consisting of surviving 200 rounds! The closest I can recall is 15 in A crack in Time. Also the inclusion of Mutliplayer is great for its time, lenghtening the experience. In conclusion this game is great fun for most hardcore Players, and is a must try, however you get it.
