A great update to a fantastic series

I am a new owner of a ps3. I bought it 2 weeks ago and got this game with it. That is because I played the original 3 R&C games on ps2, and played each of them until my eyes fell out. Their combination of funny cinematics, in-depth characters, interesting storylines and most-of-all, big guns made them a hoot. And this installment for the new generation of consoles does not soil those great games.

The combat is great throughout and the use of different gadgets is great. The customization of each weapon is outstanding and the ship-fighting is much improved. Unfortunately, the levels where you play as clank aren't a effective as on other games. But there isn't a lot of it, so you soon get back to shoot stuff. And perhaps the storyline isn't as immersive as it is on the first three, but you can just skip the cut-scenes if you want.

All together, if you liked the old games, you''l like this.
