Not only is it the best Ratchet game of all time, smashing GC and UYA, it's one of the games that make the PS3 proud!
The graphics are great...not matching up to other titles like Uncharted 2 and Final Fantasy 13, but still awesome. The lush jungles are spilling with colour and vibrance.
The soundtrack is also spot on....although some of the planets have an awakard moment and the soundtracks doesn't always fit in. The cutscene soundtrack is mind blowing though. Percectly justifiable.
The gameplay is even better than the previous games, and the slickest and smoothest engine, although the weapons were a little bit of a let down as they didn't have the 'wow' factor that a lot of the other games (including Deadlocked) had.
The story is the high light....unlike the other games the story wasn't a medicore childish one, and actually has something in there for the older fans. For the first time our two main heores are split up and have to get back together in the cruical ending....butr you can find that out for yourself.
Oh yeah, it has trophies. +1 for that.
The charatcer design also goes quite well....as does the camera angle and design of the planets, which was a plus as the old style was getting...well....old.
There are also Clank levels, which are a hige addition to the series, as they add a whole new perspective to the franchise and the side missions.
