Rappelz Epic VI Prologue: Navislamia - A free MMORPG good enough to compete with WoW and FFXI.

Rappelz Epiv VI Prologue: Navislamia, the completely free-to-play MMORPG by gpotato is an amazing and full fledged online game capable of competing with other top MMOs. The newest update, Epiv VI Prologue: Navislamia, adds many new features that help add the to the overall experience of the game.

To begin with, the new player experience has been greatly improved with the most current update. "Trainee Island," as it's called, has been refitted with a better town layout, more informative quests, and even its own dungeon designed specifically for new players. This all allows for an easy and enjoyable learning curve.

Epiv VI Prologue: Navislamia also expands on one of the larger aspects of the game, which is the pet system. This update has added 3 new pet types, all with their own unique abilities, strengths, and weaknesses, to the already existing 16 available pets. Whatever your job type, you can create the perfect pet to enhance your skills or help you in your battles.

Though it is fairly insignificant in the scope of the game, the newest update has added a donation system. With this, players compete to see how much they can give away to the "Altar of the Goddess," and the top 10 donors each month get a special decorative item, angel wings. Once you accumulate enough points you may also exchange them for gift boxes containing one of a few possible prizes, depending on the rank of the box.

Lastly is the new user interface. The Epiv VI Prologue: Navislamia update has made the game even more intuitive and customizable than it was before. You can now assign your attacks, buffs, skills, etc. to up to 48 slots on the keyboard (1-=, alt+ 1-=, ctrl+ 1-=, and shift+ 1-=). In addition to this, you can also map your different ingame menus (like inventory, pet formation, friend list, etc.) to whatever hotkeys suit you best. This kind of customization allows you to create your own most comfortable setup, which means a more enjoyable playing experience.

The soundtrack for the game is also a major selling point, though it is often overlooked. It is a fully orchestrated soundtrack that was masterfully composed and fits the gameplay amazingly. The music really does feel "epic," and is very empowering and emotional. It's so good, in fact, that they even host it for you to download and listen to at your own leisure. The economy of the game is very much alive as well. There is an easy to use auction house where you can sell your goods and bid on others' wares. It is almost as much fun making money, buying low and selling high, as it is leveling and partying. I have found myself many times having a ton of fun spending hours negotiating trades and sifting through adds making millions, then realizing I should probably go out and level my character a little.

As to the game in general, there are many points that make the game as good as it is. The fighting/battle system is very intuitive and fast paced, you can see which monsters will aggro you (which is VERY helpful), and the status windows/user interface is very clean and easy to read.

Despite the fact that it is completely free to play, it is truly outstanding and enjoyable game that I HIGHLY recommend to anyone who enjoys both MMOs and free things.
