I expected this to be like a lot of fail Mmo's I've played, and Gpotato who produces the game is no exception to them..

This game surprised me, honestly, between the graphics, and the very unique way about character classes sucks you in more than you;d expect.

I was actually able to play this game on a 7 year old computer, and it be on medium quality running rather smoothly! I had a hard time believing it myself. And on the highest quality, which my computer can manage to some degree, the game looks pretty good. Some things look like their off of megaman for the n64 if you look closely, but that's besides the point. The game will manage to make you go, "okay, that's pretty cool" a couple times in the first few hours depending on how fast you grasp it.

Tutorial: 8 out of 10
I'm not just being nice, this games tutorial was very long, it took about 5 hours! BUT I learned almost everything one would need to know about the game in that time, it also got you in the rhythm of certain things, its hard to describe, but when you have 4 hotkey rows, you need rhythm. It did have some moments where you go, how the hell, but ask around and people are likely to actually tell you.

As I stated, managing 4 hotkey bars is no easy task, but the game eases you into it nicely, and rather simple too. Holding shift/ctrl/alt with or just hitting number buttons makes up the 4 rows of 11 slots. And they give them all for VERY good reason, there is technically 9 classes for each race! You start off the standard solider, you get a taste for combat for a good while, with simple skills so you can grasp everything. Then after a while and you use something quite familiar from FF: tactics called Jp and Job levels you upgrade your skills and class separately from your actually level. They throw you the option of being physical, magic, or summoner, and if you regret your choice, for a good sum, you can switch it when you're done with the tutorial island. I decided to try Tank for the first time, I'm normally the Healer in Mmo's.

You are stuck with this middle class till level 50 where you get to actually choose a class sub category, like a actual tank/fighter/ or ranged for physical, damage dealer/healer/misc for magic, and a stronger summoner for the normal ones. This is why you need 4 hotkeys because you have pets for any class which are extremely useful later, you have your basic class, your first class, and then your second to manage. This game is very dynamic.

Music! This game has a decent sound track and okay sound effects, I'm into the oldies, rock, and some classical, so I could have some appreciation for this games sounds.

this game in my opinion deserves an 8 slightly more than Perfect world review did, no clue why, it just kinda felt a bit like lying on pw but here it feels just right.

P.S there is no flying or swimming, but you can go in water up to your waist, and you can rent mounts, which helps compensate for not being able to swim or fly. I got one rule: If you can't even walk in ankle deep water, the Mmo isn't worth playing. I instantly drop a game if I can't do something so simple as paddle through water. Its 2010 not 1999! Get with the bloody picture you lazy programmers!
