Back in the day, MMORPGs started to bloom. But most were of the typical fantasy setting and fans of Anime didn't really have much to look toward. But once Ragnarok Online came out, most who checked it out were pleasantly surprised. It was my first MMORPG experience and it was amazing. While the graphics are kind of dated now, there wasn't much to compare to, all those years ago. The game itself is very well designed, and the updates ensure that the experience can keep growing. This is one of those games that was extremely addicting, even in it's most basic form. Even though the sprites were 2D, it had that certain Anime charm that made it even more interesting. In my opinion, it is definitely a classic among Anime MMORPGs. There are many classes to choose from, several levels job advancements and the skills look very stylish and each class plays differently. Even the stats could be built so that players can enjoy trying different things, if you specialized you lose out on total number of points but can be extremely powerful in a certain way. Even the events that are implemented are fun and the features are well done. The soundtrack was very memorable and each location had its own feeling to it.
The world of Midgard is currently under constant attack from monsters. And it is your job to become the hero, and drive the evil away from the once peaceful lands. The real question is. Is this game really the story driv... Read Full Review
