Good for the first few days, slow from there on. Great visuals and lovely soundtrack, but suffers from tedious gameplay.

What can i say, im a big MMORPG fan and Ragnarok Online was one of the first i played. When first playing it i was amazed, the graphics though pretty average looking at some of todays online games just adds to the charm of the game. Also the soundtrack is stunning, really nice background music while you are walking through the forests or the towns or even just to chill out to if your character needs a rest.

Then after around a months play i begun to realise this MMORPG offers nothing. at all. Not even a friendly community can save this game from its terrible tedious leveling.

The first few levels it passes quickly, and you are able to get your first job level quickly (which is a fun aspect of the game, having to pass a test to become your class. This is sadly the only worthwhile quest doing due other quests asking impossible item numbers which are rarely dropped by the monster.) Then around level 20 - 25 you will stop and the only way to gain worthwhile experience to level is by walking to the orc dungeon and simply GRIND GRIND GRIND GRIND GRIND GRIND GRIND GRIND GRIND GRIND GRIND GRIND and GRIND.

Anyone who is a veteran MMORPG play knows this can really dullen the game and eventually just makes the online game a tedious mess which makes the game seem like a chore.

The creators have create visually a perfect game but the gameplay really drags it down. Lets hope they get it right for Ragnarok Online 2 when it manages to make it across the seas.
