A good sequel. But there were some things missing. It could be better.

First of all, I'd like so say sorry, for my bad english.

Well, the game kinda surprised me. Not in a very good way.
it has the same game modes of the previous game, and more.
Let's begin with the story mode:
Now you have 3 caracthers to choose, (raffine and aamitie from te previous game, plus Sig, a newcomer) and each caracther has his own rival order. That means, The games that you play using Amitie, aren't in the same order when you play against Raffine. Using Amitie I play against oshare bones right in the beginning, but I play against him near the end, using Raffine, you know what I mean?
The story mode has 3 difficult options - The easy (3 stages), the normal (8 stages) and the difficult (8 stages). And each caracther has his own history in it.
There's also the endless mode (to score new records) and the new Tower Challenge. Which you choose one of the 3 caracthers (the same from story mode) and you play against every caracther, one by one. If you lose, you come back to the beginning. That's a bit challengening, if you know what I mean.
There's also the multiplayer option. 8 people can play at the same time. There are almost every caracther from the prevous game, avalable in this one. Except that, Carbuncle and Popoi are out, and there's 7 new ones. And that's the real problem of the game.
In the previous one, carbuncle and popoi were really difficult caracther to play against, in this one, there's no caracther as good as carbuncle.
You can only choose the easy/normal/hard option for the caracthers. There's no more a Very Hard option.
At least 'weak' caracthers like Rider can be strong now. Unfortunally, if you liked the first game, you'd buy this one looking for more challenge, and you'll find some challenge, but not enough to make you happy. I'm not sayng they're easy, but, I was used to play against the cpu in the 'very hard' option. Now I can only play against them being 'hard. They don't make any big chain! Only 4/5 chains. In the previous game, some caracthers were able to make a 7 or 8 chain.

There's also some fun mini-games to play. They are about 12, and they're fun, specially to kill some time, and have some fun.

Oh, I was almost forgetting to say, you can use Items during your story mode games. Items which may help you. Some items can send nuisance puyos to your opponent, or make your opponent's movement become slower, etc.

The graphics are a got some improvement.
The sound is still nice. The japanese voices are good.

All in all, it's a great game, and if you really liked the first one, then you'll like this one too. It's worthy buyng. Even if you don't understand japanese (just as I). The menu may look strange at first sight, but then you'll just get used to it.
