Pure isn't just a racing game its a asterisk which means you
don't just go around racing you have to do tricks in order to win the game the single player career is pretty straight forward there's a world tournament and each stage has a number of races which vary from Freestyle: Is when you do as many tricks as you can until you run out of gas and whoever has the most points when you run out of gas wins. Here it doesn't matter if your last or first as long as you have a high score and keep nailing good combos your set. Sprints: Is race set in a small arena where you mainly complete five laps with only one or two jumps and hard turns the main objective is to finish first which is easier said than done.Lastly Races: Long Tracks usually 3 laps long filled with jumps and turns first one to the finish line wins.
Pure's game play pretty simple as well in order to get max air time you simply hold down then up right before you leave the ground ones in the air you can do easy tricks medium or hard tricks depending on your thrill bar then there is special tricks which is when you fill your thrill bar to land these tricks you need some serious air which is hard to find since there's only about 2 jumps with that much air these tricks can really help you in freestyle so remember that.
