Punch out is my personal favorite boxing game. It is just so satisfying when you punch the crap out of the other players. I really liked how whenever you punch King Hippo, his pants would fall down. Ha! There really isn't that many problems with this game. It is just that the game is a boxing game! This makes it almost impossible to give this game a 10. It isn't that kind of game that you would want to call perfect. This is just my opinion, so bear with me here. One problem I have with this game is that the game gets kind of repetitive. Punch, punch up, punch face, punch chest, dodge, uppercut. All the freaking time! But, the bosses each introduce something new, a new way to beat them, this keeps the game from being boring. That is my main problem with the game. I thought it was pretty cool that every boss has his own stereotipycal theme song! That was halarious. Another awesome thing about this game is that the game has amazing sound effects. How satisfying is it to hear that smushy bleep every time you punch a guy in them face? How about the noise your opponents make when they are falling in midair? This game also has amazing music. Like I said, each character you fight has a song that plays right before the match. Also, the theme song is just classic and very memorable. One thing I would have liked though is a change of background and surrounding. Just because you change the color doesn't make the background different! Well that concludes this review, go pick up this game, it is a masterpiece starting at $5. It is like buying the Mona Lisa of boxing video games.
