It's increasingly becoming an anomaly when a blockbuster action adventure swoops into theaters without a running mate on gaming platforms. However, when Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull debuted in theaters in May, it arrived alongside Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures. Nowhere to be seen was LucasArts' PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game, which has remained largely undercover since being announced in 2006.

Indy fans pining for more than just a recap of the suave archeologist's previous adventures may have a brand-new installment in the franchise to look forward to this year after all. A rating for Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings on the Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable turned up this week in the Pan European Game Information's online database, which provides game suitability rankings in a similar fashion to the Entertainment Software Rating Board.

Details on Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings are sparse, but the rating did offer up a few indicators on what gamers can expect. The title has been designed for teen audiences and above, having received a 16+ classification as well as a violence descriptor. The only other tidbit of information gleaned from the database is that the game will be published by Activision in Europe.
