``PSI POWERS ROCKS!!!``

User Rating: 8.7 | Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy PS2
PSI-OPS is one of the most unique and one a kind in its genre, unlike you've seen in any other tactical third-person shooters around. The first time I played this I found it uninteresting though, but as you go deeper into the game, this game just gets better and even better. The story, well, you play as Nick Scryer, a psychic operative soldier who had been sent by the Mindgate Conspiracy( a sort of top secret agency ) to spy against the terrorist group called "The Movement". Scryer had done a facial reconstruction and all his memories had been wiped out too, in order for his mission to be effective. Since his memories were lost, in the first part of the game, you have no PSI powers. But as you go further in the game, Scryer's lost memories are recollected one by one by a memory flashbacks, thus giving back Scryer's PSI abilities. My favorite psi power is the mind-control, it's just so much fun manipulating your foes and make them kill each other or make them commit a suicide....Lolzz

The graphics, are just fine, not bad but not great either, just fair. The game's physics engine on the other hand, I think it's too much, like for example; when you walk down from an elevated platform, it feels like the gravity is too low, instead that you will fall directly below a platform, you fall in a sloping way, it almost feels like you're on the surface of the moon. The gameplay, I would say... it's great!!!... the combinations of psi powers and guns blends pretty well.

Overall, it's a great game that deserves a place in your PS2 collection. The only downside I think is, it doesn't have a good replay value, but this is an experimental game, very unique, one of a kind, you might try and check it out.
